TDT-8480 4S-20S 100A is a BMS - a battery management system designed to monitor the status of batteries and control the charging and discharging processes. Li-ion batteries and LiFePO4 battery packs are both compatible with it. The primary functions include balance functionality and protection against overcharging, overdischarging, overcurrent, short circuit, and temperature.
To retain your battery for a longer cycle life, the protective board is constructed of high grade MOS (like Infineon MOS) and imported IC (Mitsumi).
In order to dissipate heat at a very high rate and allow the BMS to withstand large current, the high-quality heat sink is built of an aluminium alloy.
