 SMBJ15CA-E3/52 diode is a two-terminal electronic component that allows current to flow in only one direction while blocking it in the opposite direction. The P-N junction creates a barrier potential that prevents current flow in the reverse direction. When a diode is forward-biased, meaning the positive terminal of a power source is connected to the P-side and the negative terminal to the N-side, it allows current to flow easily through the diode.
