This GPS Receiver Modem utilizes SIMCOM's Sim28M/Sim28ML GPS Module as its foundation. The SIM28ML is a self-contained or A-GPS receiver featuring a built-in Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA). It incorporates a high-sensitivity navigation engine, enabling the attainment of industry-leading levels of sensitivity, accuracy, and Time-to-First-Fix (TTFF) while maintaining minimal power consumption. The Sim28ML can track signals as weak as -165 dBi, even in the absence of network assistance. Notably, the SIM28ML exhibits outstanding characteristics in terms of low power consumption. It offers support for various location and navigation applications, including autonomous GPS, QZSS, SBAS ranging (WASS, EGNOS, GAGAN, MSAS), DGPS, and A-GPS.
